For some months now, Gush Shalom has been sending letters To senior officers in the Israeli army, warning them that we are collecting information regarding their acts during the last Palestinian uprising. The letters state, that if Israeli courts will not take to punish acts of war crimes, this information might be used in international tribunals. Primeminister Sharon, and indeed the whole government, applied to the Israeli attorney General, asking him to see if there is a way of "dealing with us" legally. since then, for three days now, Israeli media and public are dealing with this issue wifdely.
