Supporting Gush Shalom against war crimes. A letter from Chris

Greetings,

I do not want to send you too much email because I know you are beingflooded by angry right wingers.

I just wanted to let you know that you are doing good and patriotic work.God bless you. Israel will sometime in the future be glad that there werefolks like you fighting for the honor of your country and the well being ofhuman beings in general.

I feel there desperately needs to be someone doing the same thing in the US,i.e., tracking war crimes and alerting the government that such war crimesdo not go unnoticed. For example, US police action in Afghanistan iscertainly killing an alarming number of people for what boils down to abasic policing action. The number of ‘accidents’ is embarrasing and theyjust get written off as collateral damage… Then there was the incident ofthe thousands of war prisoners in Mazar-i-Sherif that got killed and buriedright under the eyes of US special forces (if not with the help of). Thenthere are the crimes that the IDF commits that the US is clearly complicitin by virtue of supplying the guns, money and UN cover that make it allpossible.

If the US attacks Iraq for no apparent reason and kills thousands ofcivilians, this will be an additional major war crime.
