Dear Sir:
A government that starts legal procedures against a peace group for alertingthem of potentially indictable offenses by its armed forces creates thesuspicion that it has something to hide.
Does the Israeli government have something to hide? Almost assuredly, forotherwise why would it have completely blacked out independent news coverage, international observers and humanitarian workers?
Gush Shalom, by sending warning letters to officers who actually have beenboasting about acts which are violating the Geneva Conventions, is not onlywithin its democratic rights but it has performed its patriotic duty admirably.
