As an American who ardently desires to see a just and lasting peace in the MiddleEast, as well as an end to all violence, I am appalled by Israeli government attacksagainst Israeli peace groups. I am likewise appalled that your newspaper, upon whichI rely for news and commentary from Israel, has joined in these attacks.Far from being ” injudicious and wrong ” , the actions of Gush Shalom — as well asICAHD, the Women’s Coalition, Yesh Gvul and numerous other Israeli peace groups– give people of conscience worldwide hope for a better future for both Israelis andPalestinians.
